Professional IP Video Management
Virtual Police offers a professional, video management system that features user definable camera layouts in grids or on building plans, video searches, an alarm list, automatic camera detection, automated switching between cameras or entire layouts, integration of video storage with file servers, camera configuration and an update wizard for automatic configuration/updating of numerous camera profiles.
Version 2.0 provides a completely revised user interface, a new sidebar with context-sensitive functions (layout list, playback control, PTZ control), a new layout manager that permits the creation of unlimited hierarchical layout structures and improved synchronous playback from multiple cameras.
Developed for professional surveillance:
* Redesigned user interface for even simpler operation
* New layout manager with sidebar functions
* Definition of layouts and hierarchical structures
* Time-synchronized playback of recordings

Alarms always come into view immediately
Thanks to automatically synchronized time tracking, it is possible to search for events on several different cameras simultaneously.
The alarm search combines a series of functions designed to simplify the search for events. The storyboard is a film strip view that permits rapid review of the event images. The event list enables the rapid search of events based on time criteria. You can analyze the event that initiated an alarm in more detail using the event viewer.

Multi-view and site map integrated
The MxControlCenter allows for multi-view display with different image format sizes. The integrated layout editor provides for quickly designing floor plans via drag-and-drop.

Remote alerting via IP or ISDN with automatic floor plan switching
Virtual Police cameras come as standard with all the functions required for automatic, event-controlled access to a control center. Access can take place via ISDN, a network or the Internet. If events occur, the cameras transmit a message via the network to the control center computer which then saves the event image, creates a live image, brings it into the foreground of the monitor, where possible, and sends an acoustic signal to the user. For more information got to control center.
Image post-processing (contrast, zoom, distortion correction)
The correction of the wide-angle lens distortion in the live display as well as in recording playback is a standard feature, just like image section enlargement and editing for printing and storage functions.

Distortion correction and panning simultaneously with MxControlCenter - on the left an original image of a Virtual Police camera fitted with a 180° Super Wide Angle lens, on the right the straightened and panned image.

Zoom with MxControlCenter - the recognition of number plates is not a problem.
